Gensets in the dock

The first genset products of Spanish manufacturer Cymasa have been delivered by UAE Scania distributor Al Shirawi to Abu Dhabi firm Adyard. Adyard is a constructor of offshore platforms and barges. The Scania DC14 powered 375 kVA gensets have been installed in a floating dock recently converted by means of a thorough refit from a flat top barge.The 110m long by 25 m wide dock will be berthed in Musapha, Abu Dhabi, and can work on vessels of up to 3000 tonnes. Adyard's parent company Nico Int. has also taken delivery of a new genset, a DC12 powered 375 kVA plant for waterside crane duties.
