Intrinsically safe pressure transmitters
1 January 2016The OMEGA® PX51-IS/PXM51-IS Series of pressure transmitters is designed, tested, and FM certified to be intrinsically safe in hazardous locations.
The transmitters offer an all stainless steel construction and rugged thick film sensing element, suitable for very harsh environments.
The unit is available in gauge, absolute, and sealed gauge models with a wide selection of outputs and a unique dual fitting. The list of locations requiring intrinsically safe devices is extensive but includes most process control applications in industries such as oil and gas production, chemical refineries, and power generation, or anywhere with airborne dust, such as storage silos.
