New range from Atlas Copco

Atlas Copco has announced that it has launched its QA series of diesel gensets. This range is has ratings between 17-178 kVA, comprising 18 models, each powered by a liquid-cooled Deutz engine driving a 50 or 60 Hz alternator.

The gensets have an Atlas Copco-developed microprocessor module, designed to give a good response to load fluctuations over the entire output range, and allow for recovery times of less than three seconds.

The gensets have a number of options, including: weatherproof canopy, lifting beam, in-built full-shift fuel tank, radiator guard, hot spot guards, changeover contractor kit, oil heater, automatic mains failure detection, electronic speed regulation, terminal board and earth leakage relay.
