Ballard Power Systems and Coleman Powermate, the latter being a subsidiary of Sunbeam Corporation, have jointly announced that they will be collaborating on the development of portable and standby power products that will be based on Ballard fuel cells. As a result of this collaboration, they aim to produce up to 50 prototype units for initial product testing.
