Rolls-Royce has signed an agreement with Switzerland-based Tuma Turbomach, part of the Babcock-Borsig group, for the packaging and distribution of industrial gas turbines.

Turbomach will offer the power generation RB211 and Trent gas turbines, concentrating initially on European markets.

Rolls-Royce and Turbomach have said that they expect strong interest in France, Germany, Italy and Spain. John Kempster, Managing Director, Power Generation of Rolls-Royce, said: "This agreement with Turbomach is an extra route to market for Rolls-Royce products, and we expect it to increase our presence in important areas, especially mainland Europe."
