Visions of the future

1 June 2001

F G Wilson, which in the last four years has increased its share of the UK rental market from almost nothing to 50 per cent, has launched a range of diesel gensets, the ‘Vision’ range, designed as compact ready to run models.

They come fully packaged, with sound attenuated enclosures and microprocessor autostart control systems. Incorporating Perkins engines, the range extends from 44 to 83 kVA 3-phase and 30 to 50 kVA single phase. Future extensions are expected to increase it to 150 kVA 3-phase. The sound enclosure apparently exceeds EU attenuation regulations, while the Access 2000 autostart control panel is claimed to incorporate the latest developments in control technology.
