Aggreko, the prominent supplier of temporary power and temperature control services, has announced the acquisition of Golden Triangle Generators (GTG), based in Frodsham in the northwest of England. GTG is a provider of rental power solutions to customers throughout Merseyside, Cheshire and North Wales.
With a substantial fleet of generators, GTG has established a solid customer base among the utility sector during its 26 years of operation, serving a wide variety of local industries and providing critical power to events and festivals throughout the northwest of England. With a customer profile closely matching that of Aggreko, the complementary nature of the two companies is very strong.
“Aggreko operates throughout the UK via an established network of 18 service centres. The northwest is an area identified as a key growth area in our development strategy," commented Aggreko UK CEO Dan Ibbetson.
