Agreement expected on trans-European networks in enlarged EU

Energy ministers of the EU are set to adopt a political agreement that will establish guidelines for the enlarged Europe on trans-European energy networks.

The proposals adapt guidelines from June 2003 to take account of enlargement and allow joint projects to be financed in the enlarged EU.
