The Nuclear Group will focus on two market segments: services for existing nuclear plants and design/build opportunities for new nuclear plants.
Within the USA, EE&C's Nuclear Group will primarily pursue the existing nuclear plant services market as well as future nuclear projects. Internationally, it will primarily pursue new EPC nuclear projects.
Steve Rus, EE&C senior vice president and director of the Nuclear Group, said: "All the operating nuclear plants in the USA were designed before the mid-1980s. As with all ageing facilities, they require upgrades and improvements."
