Chinese hydro firms move on Cambodia projects

The $190 million project is expected to produce come 465 GWh annually while the transmission network, being constructed at a cost of $113 million, will connect Phnom Penh, Kampong Chhnang, Pursat and Battambang.

China Yunnan Corp for International Techno-Economic Cooperation and Yunnan Southeast-Asia Economy and Technology Investment Industrial Co are to develop both projects on a build, operate and transfer basis, Chinese state media reports.
