Portugal's Ministry of Economic Affairs has launched a tender for the construction of an 1,100 MW wind farm. Those interested to participate in the tender should submit their proposals by 18 May, 2005. The government will analyse the volumes of the technology investments in the projects, plans for creation of job positions, environmental conservation activities, tariff prices of the final products to customers, among others.
