DUKE WINS SAFETY AWARD

Duke Energy Gas Transmission has been awarded the Safety Achievement Award from the American Gas Association. The award is given to companies for outstanding achievements in promoting employee safety along gas pipelines. Duke claimed the lowest lost-time incident rate among large natural gas transmission companies for 2001.
