Sloe Centrale, a joint venture formed to manage the 870 MW development on the Sloe industrial estate in the south-west of the Netherlands, will see each partner having at its disposal 50% of the electricity generated.
Siemens is to build the plant and maintain it for 15 years under a €550 million contract, with commercial operation due to start in 2009.
