Endesa developing two new wind farms

Endesa Cogeneración y Renovables has begin construction of the Las Pardas and Cantiruelas wind farms with capacities of 49.5 MW and 15 MW respectively which will be located in the town of Valle de Sedano in the province of Burgos.

Investment in the project will total euro 86.9 million and both farms will be equipped with 33 turbines, each with a unit capacity of 1.5 MW.

The energy will be transmitted via a 20 kV line to the 20/132 kV Otero collecting substation which is also part of the project. A 12 km long 132 kV high voltage line will then transmit the energy to the La Lora transformer station which which will in turn evacuate 540 MW.
