Spanish Endesa is planning to open a tender for the construction of 20 CCGTs across Spain, Portugal, Italy and France, and Endesa in the coming months.
With an investment of €4 billion, the plans will see eight plants built in Spain, two in Portugal and 10 in France and Italy from 2005 to 2009. Endesa is expected to tender the projects in groups of three to six rather than individually.
