Enel starts up two green energy plants

Enel Green Power (EGP) has consolidated its position in the Greek renewable energy market with the commissioning of two new power plants.

The Italian firm has started up the 27 MW Corinth wind farm and the 4.8 MW Kourtesi II photovoltaic plant, bringing its installed capacity in the country to 228 MW.

Both plants are in the Peloponnese region.

The Corinth wind farm consists of 32 wind turbines spread across the areas of Chlogos and Profitis Elias near the city of Corinth.

The Kourtesi II PV plant is located in the Illia region.
