E.On boosts its Texas portfolio

18 April 2019

E.On has started the construction of a new 220 MW wind farm in Texas, USA.

The Cranell wind farm in Refugio County is the second wind farm in Texas that E.On has brought into construction, following the 151 MW Peyton Creek project in Matagorda County.

Cranell will use 100 Vestas turbines and will be brought on-line in 2019. Peyton Creek will consist of 48 Nordex 3.15 MW wind turbines.

The two projects bring E.On’s wind energy capacity in Texas to 3000 MW.
