The joint venture manufactures combustion components, buckets and nozzles to contribute to the assembly of GE's Frame 9FA and 9E gas turbines in China.

GE Turbomachinery, a $13.7 million is a joint venture formed between GE Energy and Shenyang Blower Works, a major state-owned enterprise in centrifugal compressors, blowers and gear manufacturing in China.

GE claims it is the first company to deliver a locally assembled gas turbine to the Chinese market.
