GE to supply Taiwanese nuclear plant

GE Energy's Nuclear business has been awarded a contract to upgrade monitoring and control systems at the 1 272 MW Chin Shan nuclear station in northern Taiwan. GE will supply hardware and software, engineering, licensing support, installation and training to the Taiwan Power Company (TPC).
