Hydro Tasmania to develop new wind farm

Australia’s Hydro Tasmania has announced plans for the construction of a new wind farm in the state's north-west which is expected to begin within the next few months.

The 75 MW Studland Bay farm will use Vestas 3 MW machines and will be funded through a 14-year deal in which utility company Aurora Energy will buy renewable energy certificates from Hydro Tasmania. Financial details have not been disclosed.
