Hyundai wins $696 million order from UAE

South Korea's Hyundai Engineering & Construction Co has won a $696 million order to build a 1,200 MW gas-fired combined-cycle power plant in the United Arab Emirates.

Construction of the extension to the Jebel Ali power complex in Dubai is expected to take close to three years and is due to be completed by April 2008.
