India’s nuclear player moves towards renewables

The corporation has signed a joint venture memorandum of understanding with the Tehri Hydel Power Corp, having apparently received two proposals from Maharashtra to develop in hydro power plants and is also increasing its installed wind capacity.

Jain said that the diversification comes in response to the prospect of market liberalisation and also included possible future nuclear developments.
