INTERSOLAR SECURES FUNDS

The UK government has awarded around $700 000 to the Intersolar Group for the construction of a facility to manufacture solar cells. The plant is expected to cost $1.2 million to complete. The site of the new plant has not been disclosed. Intersolar expects to be able to produce cells for around $1000/kW.
