Jellyfish beat Power plants

Huge numbers of jellyfish shut down two 500 MWe power plants of Southern Energy Holdings Philippines in the northern town of Sual on December 10, 1999. This caused others units in Luzon to trip, resulting in 40 million consumers being blacked-out for several hours.
