Longview contract for Foster Wheeler

Foster Wheeler has received a full release to proceed on its contract from Longview Power for the design and supply of a supercritical once-through pulverised-coal (PC) steam generator for its new facility located in Monongalia County, West Virginia.

The total contract value with Longview, a subsidiary of GenPower, is worth approximately $200 million and under its terms Foster Wheeler will provide a 695 MW steam generator utilising Siemens advanced BENSON vertical tube supercritical steam technology.
