The Italian steel company Lucchini SpA is to sell a 25 per cent stake in the Italian energy company Elettra GLL SpA to German concern RWE for Euro70 million. The deal includes an option for the German utility to buy a 60 per cent stake in two other power plants. RWE Power has also agreed to participate in a plan to increase the capitalisation of Elettra by 60 per cent once the transaction has been completed.
