9 May 2006

With the takeover MAN boosts its steam turbine product line for lower capacities, to now range from 1 to 120 MW.

BVI steam turbines are installed as generator drives for biomass, waste incineration and in co-generation power plants in Central and Northern Europe, the company says.

The date of the takeover is retroactive from 1 January.
