Mexican grid contract for Iberdrola

The Federal Electricity Commission (CFE) of Mexico has signed a contract with Spainish power group Iberdrola for the construction of transmission lines and sub-stations in the northern border states of Nuevo Leon and Chihuahua.

The $67.7 million project is due to be completed by October 2006 and includes six transmission lines and three substations.
