Mitsubishi Hitachi Power Systems (MHPS), jointly with Daelim Industrial Co. of Korea, has received an order for a 1000 MW class boiler to be installed at the Shinseocheon power plant.
The coal-fired ultra-supercritical-pressure high efficiency thermal power unit is to be constructed by Korea Midland Power Co., (KOMIPO). The boiler will be a core component of the new power plant, slated to commence operation in September 2019.
