Nepa disbanded as new company takes over

Nigeria’s federal government has officially disbanded the National Electric Power Authority (NEPA) and simultaneous inaugurated the board that will manage the new Power Holding Company (PHC).


The PHC is expected to create at least 18 companies that will ultimately be privatised and its board is to be headed by the minister of power and steel, Liyel Imoke.
