Portugal set to spend on remote metering

Energias de Portugal (EdP) is considering a plan to spend some euro 600 million on the development of a remote metering system.

The group's domestic electricity supply subsidiary EDP Distribucao requires regulatory approval from ERSE in order to pass on cost to end users.
