Romanian distribution sale

The Romanian government has approved plans to sell almost 25% stakes in Electrica Moldova and Electrica Oltenia, two regional distribution companies, to E.On and CEZ having previously been chosen for exclusive negotiations for the minority holdings. Under the government's privatisation programme, the winning bidder will be required to increase its stake to 51%. Although details of the final sale price have not yet been revealed.
