RUSSIA TO BUILD TABAS PLANT

A two unit coal-fired power plant at Tabas in Iran is to be built by Russia. The announcement was made during a technological cooperation conference between the two countries. Russian companies have already built six units at the Ramin power plant and eight units and the Shahid Mohammad Montazeri power plant with an aggregate capacity of 3490 MW.
