Under the terms of the €17.2 billion transaction, announced last November, ScottishPower shareholders will receive 400 pence ($8) per share in cash and 365 pence ($7.3) per share in new Iberdola shares.
The new group will have installed capacity of 36,600 MW, of which over 6,000 MW will be renewable, and 21.4 million customers.
