Siemens wins blast furnace order from India’s Jindal South West Steel

The VAI Division of Siemens will design and supply equipment for the furnace, which will be India's largest. The order is worth €28 million. The modernized blast furnace is scheduled for start-up in January 2007 and the new blast furnace in October 2008.
