SoCal Edison in wind buy

Southern California Edison Co plans to purchase 75 MW of wind capacity from ScottishPower's PPM Energy over a 20 year term. The utility has asked for California Public Utilities Commission approval for the deal.

Last year the utility sourced close to 20% of its power from renewable sources.
