India-based wind turbine maker Suzlon reports said it has completed the process of acquiring its German subsidiary REpower Systems.
Mr Tulsi Tanti, CMD of the Suzlon Group commented “This is a very important milestone in Suzlon and REpower coming together.”
The stock exchange de-listing of the shares of REpower Systems will proceed in due course. As part of the REpower restructuring plan it will be relocating the manufacture of its established 2MW turbines to Suzlon’s facility in Padubidri, India.
