Wisconsin Public Service Corp said it plans to build Weston 4, a 500 MWe coal-fired power unit costing $650-700 million, with a project start-up date of 2008. The utility is experiencing growing difficulties in the maintainence of its exisiting three plants on the site, all between 20 and 50 years old.
