• GE Aero Energy Products is to supply two aeroderivative gas turbines to Tractebel for installation at two power plants in Europe. The first LM6000PD will be installed in an Air Products facility in Rotterdam, The Netherlands. Delivery is scheduled for autumn 2001, with commercial operation due early in 2002. A second LM6000PD will be provided for installation at Papeteries Etienne paper mill in Arles, France. The unit will be operated by Sethelec to provide electricity and steam for the paper processing plant. This unit will be delivered in spring 2002, with commercial operation in late summer of the same year. Both 42 MW turbines will be fired with natural gas and fitted with dry low-NOx combustors which reduce emissions to 25 ppmvd at 15 per cent oxygen.
