Ingersoll-Rand adds genset line

The recently formed Ingersoll-Rand Portable Power business has anounced a partnership with SDMO Industries, a leading generator manufacturer based in Brest, northern France, giving it global exclusivity for marketing, sales and service of SDMO’s generators from 15 to 500 kVA for plant hire and construction markets. The move is part of Ingersoll-Rand’s ongoing strategy to strengthen its market position by adding ranges that will extend its already powerful position in the portable compressors field.
