Long life filter element

Waukesha Engine Division has introduced a synthetic Microglass oil filter element option for use with its Microspin oil filtration system. The new element can extend the oil filter change intervals on VHP engines to 4000 hours. The Microspin system combines a centrifuge and cleanable stainless steel elements in a lube oil filtration system that can extend oil change intervals by up to 40 per cent. The Microglass element’s long life is owing to the material’s high dirt holding capacity and resistance to physical breakdown.

It resists erosion, will not allow oil streaming and can withstand pressures in excess of 95 psi.
