Electricité de France renewable energy arm EDF Energies Nouvelles has signed a 230 MW photovoltaic module supply contract with US-based company First Solar. The order covers 230 MWp in modules deliverable progressively between mid-2007 and year-end 2012.
First Solar manufactures thin film photovoltaic modules which will be used primarily for ground-level photovoltaic plants, both for EdF’s own use and for third parties in Europe, the United States and Canada.
