A partnership of Cinergy Global Power Inc and SeaWest Power Systems Inc will redevelop wind farms in the San Georgino Pass near Palm Springs, California, according to a Dow Jones report.

The scheme will include removing 430 wind turbines from four SeaWest wind farms and replacing them with sixty-two 700 kWe turbines manufactured by NEG Micon.

Power will be sold to Southern California Edison. The wind farms are expected to begin generating power in June 1999.
