Combustion, Energy and Steam Specialists Ltd (CESS Ltd), a Scottish-based company, has entered into a one year joint marketing initiative with PT Indonesia Power, a newly privatised utility previously known as PT PLN PJB 1, to market and supply surplus power plants and related equipment. The contract will give PT Indonesia Power access to the resources of CESS for the inspection, evaluation, marketing and relocation of surplus plants and equipment, including gas and steam turbines, diesel engines, transformers and boilers, and ancillary equipment such as fuel treatment plants and gas booster stations. The Indonesian company remains a subsidiary of PLN, the Indonesian state electricity company.
