SatCon Technology has launched its PowerGate conversion and GridLink interface systems for fuel cell-based distributed power systems. The GridLink interface allows fuel cells to be operated either independently or in parallel with the transmission grid. The PowerGate system converts DC output from the fuel cell to AC at ratings up to 50 kWe.
