RusAl, Russia’s leading aluminium producer, plans to invest up to $650 million constructing the first phase of the Rogunskaya hydropower plant in Tajikistan. Lahmeyer International is to develop a feasibility study on the 4 GW plant that is due to be operational by 2010.
