In this ultra-competitive business, production targets and delivery commitments must be strictly adhered to, and power outages are correspondingly expensive. With this in mind, Grand Alpine has decided to install a Scania Scanpac standby generator, a decision based mainly on the company’s reputation for after sales service. The unit had to meet certain step load requirements and comply with local noise level regulations – 75 dBA at 7m.
