VA Tech Transmission and Distribution has completed its first substation project in Kuwait. The project, part of a reinforcement programme in Middle Eastern State, involved supply and installation of 132/11kV substation at Yarmouk A for the Kuwaiti Ministry of Electricity and Water. The company was recently awarded the contract for a further three substations in the country.a loan facility worth a total of E14.4 million.
