Vattenfall is to supply trading and risk management services to the UK electricity retailer Electricity Direct (ED) for three years. The Nordic company will be responsible for all electricity purchasing for ED and for the company’s short term power balance. Total turnover for the deal is expected to be around $220 million over three years.
