US-based Vericor has signed a memorandum of agreement with the UK company Ener-G for the supply of CHP units to the US market. The deal allows Vericor, which currently sells aeroderivative gas turbine-based chp units, to add reciprocating engine based systems to its range. Ener-G supplies such units in 100 kW to multi-MW capacities which are well suited to commercial applications where power and water heating or chilling is required. Gas turbine systems are used in industrial applications where higher grade heat is required.
